We reported a few days ago that JOANN fabric stores have begun accepting Apple Pay through their app and website.
Now just a short time later, Michaels, one of JOANN’s competitors, is accepting Apple Pay and other contactless payment methods.
This can be seen on the company’s card readers that show the dots across the top of the screen that has indicated Apple Pay acceptance previously at other store. Additionally, the card readers do tell customers to “Tap” their cards to the readers for payment.

At this time, it does not look as though Apple Pay is currently accepted through the Michaels app or website.
By Michaels accepting Apple Pay in its stores, it also means that customers who pay with Apple Card through their iPhone or Apple Watch will get 2% in Daily Cash on each purchase they make with it.
