Those that have been looking to stream this upcoming season of  MLB “Friday Night Baseball” at no additional cost are in luck.
Tonight, the Chicago Cubs posted on their Twitter page about the two-month free trial of Apple TV+ so fans could have an easier way to stream the games early on in the season.
The Cubs are back in action tomorrow on @AppleTV.

By clicking the link in the tweet, it takes users to a page where they can redeem the free trial offer. This offers is for new and “qualified returning subscribers only,” and will expire on Friday, July 7. After it expires, Apple TV+ will go back to its normal $6.99 a-month price.
The Chicago Cubs will be playing the Texas Rangers to kick off the second season of MLB Friday Night Baseball on Apple TV+ at 2:20 p.m. ET on Friday, April 7.
It’s the first season where Apple will not be making the games entirely free. Now viewers will have to be subscribed to Apple TV+ in order to stream the games. You can see the first half of scheduled “Friday Night Baseball” games here too.
On top of being able to stream live “Friday Night Baseball” games, Apple TV+ users can stream the new third season of “Ted Lasso” and other hit content such as “Severance” and “Shrinking.”
Apple TV+ is available on any device with access to the Apple TV app.
