Apple Music Classical now supported in Shazam app

Shazam has officially been updated with support for Apple Music Classical on iPhones.

Apple Music Classical launched towards the end of March this year and is an app for Apple Music subscribers to listen to a variety of different types of classical music, and do so from a dedicated app.

Apple did acquire Shazam in September 2018 and has since integrated it into software such as iOS and iPadOS for recognizing songs by simply asking Siri “What song is this” and other similar questions.

This update came in the official Shazam app in Version 15.33 that has the following info:

“You can now open classical songs from Shazam in the Apple Music Classical app. Simply Shazam or search for a classical song, tap the menu icon on the track page and select “Open in Classical.”
