While we do primarily focus on Apple here at Appleosophy, we have to give credit where credit is due and that starts with the smartphone, which was started with BlackBerry.
Without BlackBerry, there may not be an iPhone or the iPhone that we know and cherish today.
Last weekend, the brand new “BlackBerry” film was released starring Jay Baruchel, who is known as the voice of Hiccup Haddock from “How to Train Your Dragon” and Glenn Howerton who is best known for his character of Dennis Reynolds from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”
The movie goes through the beginning of BlackBerry and its overall rise and fall.
Not to give too much away, but I have personally seen this film and enjoyed it. There are parts of it that do remind me of both the Ashton Kutcher “Jobs” and Michael Fassbender “Steve Jobs” movies.
“BlackBerry” will be released on iTunes on Friday, June 2, and it can be pre-ordered from it right now too. After it is purchased, it will show in your library on the Apple TV app.
