As of last week, Apple Pay has officially launched in both Panama and Honduras. This comes right after the company launched Apple Pay in El Salvador and Guatemala earlier this month.
Financial institutions in Panama like BAC Credomatic, Branco General, St. Georges Bank, and Ficohsa are the ones over there that have gotten support on their end. This means customers of those banks can add their debit cards through the Apple Wallet app to their iPhone and Apple Watch and make purchases in stores and online with Apple Pay.
Apple has confirmed on one of its Apple Pay support page that Panama and Honduras are supported now.
With the addition of Apple Pay in Panama and Honduras, it makes it so Apple Pay is now available in 80+ countries worldwide.
