“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” now available to stream for free on Apple TV app

Thanksgiving is now less than a week away and that means it is time to watch some Charlie Brown!

Apple does own the rights to the Peanuts “Charlie Brown” holiday specials and will be showing “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” for completely free this weekend on the Apple TV app.

The free dates specifically are November 18-19. Users will not need to type in any sort of credit/debit card info in order to stream the special on the Apple TV app. As long as they have an Apple ID (free to make) and an internet connection, they can stream the special.

Apple will be providing free dates next month to stream the Charlie Brown Christmas special too. However, neither the Thanksgiving nor Christmas specials will be airing on PBS this year which did not happen last year either.

After the free period ends to stream the Thanksgiving special, only those who are subscribed to Apple TV+ will be able to stream it from there. Apple TV+ now costs $9.99 a month and is available on the Apple TV app.

Those that are looking to potentially stream the special closer to Thanksgiving or on the day itself but without incurring the cost of Apple TV+ can look into buying the Kellogg’s Charlie Brown-themed cereal that was released this fall which will have a one-month free trial of Apple TV+ in it.
