Apple Music Classical launches on CarPlay (UPDATED)

Avatar for David Becker

A major addition came to Apple Music this morning with the addition of CarPlay support for the Apple Music Classical.

That’s right, Apple Music Classical now has support for CarPlay. By having it available on CarPlay, it makes it so all of Apple Music Classical’s catalog is available right through the user’s car dashboard display.

MacRumors has reported that when the app opens, it does not function or work properly.

Apple Music Classical did launch on the iPhone last March and became available on the iPad later in 2023.

The service is available as a free app for Apple Music users. Apple Music currently costs $10.99 a month.

UPDATE: Following an update to the Apple Music Classical iOS app that was released today, January 22, 2024, the CarPlay app has been removed, according to MacRumors.
