Sweden Apple Store to close for good later this week

One of Apple’s retail stores in Sweden will be closing its doors permanently starting later this week.

It was reported by Michael Steeber at Tabletops that Apple has decided to forgo renewing its lease and will be closing its Apple Väla Centrum store. The store will be permanently closed as of July 13.

It was previously reported earlier this year that the store would be closing sometime this year, but no exact information was available to the public at the time.

The store itself is 11 years but also Apple’s newest store in Sweden, so the move is considered to be “a bit odd,” according to Steeber.

Once the store closes permanently, it will leave Apple down to just two remaining stores in Sweden.
