New Peacock monthly price increases start today, in-app purchases in App Store to reflect changes

We reported a little more than a couple of months ago that price increases were coming to Peacock. That day has come.

As of today, the new price increases got into effect. This means that the ad-supported plan costs $7.99 a month and the ad-free plan costs $13.99 a month.

With the new monthly price changes, it also means they change in the App Store to the prices listed above.

Peacock has become a much more substantial streaming service to be subscribed to over the past year or two, with hit original TV shows like “Ted” and acquired TV shows such as “Modern Family” and “That 70’s Show,” along with being the exclusive streamer of “The Office.”

The streaming service does also excel with live sporting events too like NFL Sunday Night Football, exclusive NFL playoff games, Big Ten Saturday Night Football, exclusive college football and basketball games, as well as auto racing like IndyCar races.
