Canada and Australia get support for Apple Account cards in Wallet app

After it first became available in the U.S. more than two years ago, users in Canada and Australia now have the ability to add their digital Apple Account cards to the Apple Wallet app.

By adding their Apple Account card to the Wallet app, it enables users to see the balance on their account in the moment, as opposed to going into the iTunes or App Store apps and seeing it there.

It is also convenient too since when a user gets something like an Apple gift card that can be used in iTunes, the App Store, Apple Books, Apple TV, and other Apple apps and services.

This was all discovered by @nicolas09F9 on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Before today, functionality for having the Apple Account card in the Wallet app was only available in the U.S. and Japan.

In order to get your Apple Account card in the Wallet app, open up the Wallet app on the iPhone, tap “Available Cards,” and then tap “Add Apple Account.” Once you have done all of that, your Apple Account card should show up in the Wallet app, as well as the balance on your account if you have one at the present time.
