It is that time of the year again where college football is back.
For this season, there is going to be a heavier emphasis on streaming, with many fans finding it a better, cheaper, and overall more efficient way of watching their favorite teams and games live.
Believe it or not, the first games of the season actually begin this Saturday, August 24.
With that said, here are the ways in which you can stream college football’s 2024 regular season live.
The first option is going to be through live TV streaming services like YouTube TV, FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, DirecTV Stream, and Sling TV. Of these options for live TV streaming services, we have found that the best one for the money is Sling TV with its Sling Orange + Sling Blue plan at $55 a month that will include most of the ESPN Networks, as well as FS1 and FS2. However, it will not have your local TV stations in most TV markets, so keep an eye out on that.
However, if you’re looking to truly get the best experience for watching college football live this season, look no further than YouTube TV and FuboTV since they both have strong technical features, such as the ability to watch multiple games at once on the same TV screen.
Another option for streaming college football games live will be through ESPN+. This service has a big partnership with conferences like the Big 12 Conference, American Athletic Conference (AAC), Conference USA, Sun Belt, and others where there are exclusive games just on ESPN+ alone. ESPN+ by itself starts at $10.99 via in-app purchases in the App Store. You can see the schedule of games ESPN+ will be streaming this season.
Peacock is going to be playing another heavy emphasis in college football this year, with its select number of exclusive Big 10 Conference games, along with a live simulcast of the games that air on NBC, as well as Notre Dame football games which does include a Peacock exclusive Notre Dame game that will be played on September 28 against Louisville. You can see the schedule of current Peacock exclusive games that will be live throughout the season.
On top of that, Paramount+ will also be the home to Big 10 and SEC football games this season. These will be the same ones that air on CBS live. At this time, it does not appear as though this streaming service will have any exclusive games this year. Please note that it only includes the live games on CBS and not CBS Sports Network.
MAX is also said to be streaming live games this year. However, users will have to pay for the additional Bleacher Report add-on for an extra $9.99 a month on top of your regular MAX subscription. The games themselves will be played on truTV with the simulcast of the game on MAX.
When it comes to streaming games live on FOX Networks such as FOX, FS1 and Big Ten Network (BTN), that can be done through the FOX Sports app, but you will have to sign in with valid TV provider credentials.
Select ACC and PAC 12 games are scheduled to be played on CW (previously called “The CW”). Those games can be streamed through live TV streaming services as long as the service has your local station in your TV market.
All of the streaming services mentioned above are available to stream on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac.
