The 2024 college football season is coming sooner than you’d think. There are many ways to stream the games live this season, but how do you do so in 4K?
We have that answer.
The way how to stream college football games in 4K this season is going to be through a few methods.
The first method will be through games that air on FOX Sports. FOX is very well-known for airing and providing livestreams of games in 4K. When it does provide a 4K broadcast, it is usually upscaled 1080p HDR.
To stream the FOX Sports games in 4K, that will require users to stream them through either the FOX Sports app or through live TV streaming services like YouTube TV and FuboTV through the FOX 4K channels.
NBC/Peacock and ESPN are other outlets that have previously broadcast games in 4K historically. Games available in 4K through Peacock mostly only require the person to be signed into their Peacock account on an Apple TV 4K to get access to the 4K stream of the game.
However, it is not done consistently, with ESPN usually doing at least one game available in 4K each week. But even with that, we have previously reported that those 4K games are only available in 4K through YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream.
All of the streaming services listed above do have apps in the App Store to stream their games live and in 4K.
