Yes, you read that right. Surprisingly, Beats, a company currently owned by Apple that specializes in making quality headphones and speakers has launched new cases for the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Apple announced this new iPhone lineup at its ‘Glowtime’ event on September 9th, taking technology to the next level.

The iPhone 16 series is powered by the second generation 3nm chips from the Apple family – A18 and A18 Pro, with both the regular and Pro models featuring similar new features and changes. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, powered by the new A18 Pro chip feature a larger 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR Display, but they now come with even slimmer bezels for a more futuristic look.

The limelight falls on the new Camera Control Button, which is also interactive, and available on all four new models. According to Beats, the cases feature “a sapphire crystal, coupled to a conductive layer to communicate finger movements to the Camera Control.”

Beats describes this case further by stating: “The hardshell polycarbonate back is complemented by flexible sidewalls to optimize shock absorption, while making the case thin, light, and easy to grip. The exterior is treated with a glossy, scratch-resistant coating for extra protection, and the soft microfiber lining gently reduces surface scratches and abrasion.”

Using this case should make no difference to your usage of the Camera Control button because of Beats’s implementation into the case. The case comes with a price tag of $49, in four color options including Midnight Black, Summit Stone, Riptide Blue, and Sunset Purple. They are available to order right away, so you can get your case before you get your new iPhone 16. For comparison, Apple’s Silicone and Clear cases also come in at around $49, so this just gives customers another option when choosing a case for their iPhone 16 model.
