Apple has started rolling out iPadOS 18.0.1 (22A3370) to the public with several important bug fixes. This update comes two weeks after the release of iPadOS 18 which debuted a Calculator App, redesigned Control Center, New Passwords app, icon tinting, and more. Apple keeps refining the software experience with every 18.x.x update whilst also fixing security issues.
According to the Release Notes:
“This update enables iPad Pro with M4 to update to iPadOS 18 and provides important bug fixes and security updates for your iPad including:
- Messages may unexpectedly quit when replying to a message with a shared Apple Watch face
- Performance may be impacted due to an issue with memory allocation on some iPad models.

iPadOS 18.0.1 also includes fixes to 2 security flaws, according to Apple.
These updates are available on all devices that support iPadOS 18 including:
- iPad Pro (2nd generation and later)
- iPad Air (3rd generation and later)
- iPad (6th generation and later)
- iPad mini (5th generation and later)
