Apple releases visionOS 2.3, watchOS 11.3, and tvOS 18.3

Apple today has released visionOS 2.3, watchOS 11.3, and tvOS 18.3 in addition to iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3 and macOS Sequoia 15.3. Here is a round up of what is new in these updates.

visionOS 2.3

According to Apple’s release notes, visionOS 2.3 brings bug fixes, security fixes, and performance improvements to the Apple Vision Pro. To download visionOS 2.3 on your Vision Pro headset, go to the Settings app, select the General section, and choose Software Update. For installation, remove the Vision Pro headset. You can monitor the progress on the front EyeSight display’s software progress bar.

watchOS 11.3

This update for Apple Watch brings a new Black Unity watch face for the Apple Watch, performance improvements, bug fixes, and security fixes. To download watchOS 11.3 on an iPhone running iOS 18.3, open the Apple Watch app, navigate to General, and select Software Update. Ensure your Apple Watch has at least 50% battery and is placed on a charger to install the new software.

tvOS 18.3

This update for Apple TV brings bug fixes, performance improvements, and security fixes. It has also been reported that this update adds a new notice about digital movie and TV show sales according to MacRumors. To download tvOS 18.3 on your Apple TV, open the Settings app, navigate to System, and select Software Update. If you have automatic software updates enabled, your Apple TV will be upgraded to tvOS 18.3 automatically.

Addtionally, Apple has released HomePod Software 18.3 which is based on tvOS. This update also includes bug fixes, performance improvements, and security fixes.
