Reading has always been some form of popular pastime for Americans. not only is it a good hobby and habit to get into, but there are studies that show that regularly reading is good for your mental health.
Everyone has their own way of improving their mental health in some way, but when it comes to reading, you more than likely need a bookstore to make your purchases through if you’re a physical book reader.
What makes 2025 nice is that there are plenty of in-store and online options where you can not only shop for the newest and best books the market has to offer, but also pay for them with Apple Pay too.
In-store:
- Barnes & Noble
- Books-A-Million (BAM)
- Half Price Books
- Hudson News
- Target
- Select indie bookstores
Online:
- ThriftBooks (app and website)
- PangoBooks (app)
- Tertulia (app)
- Target (app and website)
- AbeBooks (website)
- Better World Books (website)
- Biblio (website)
- eBay (app and website)
I did list both Target and eBay since Target stores do carry a plethora of books now due to its discontinuation of selling DVD and Blu-ray Discs inside its stores.
eBay was mentioned since some of the stores listed above do also sometimes have accounts on eBay where they do add books there and sell them via eBay, along with the fact that eBay overall is a great place to get second hand books for fairly cheap.
On top of all of that, if you use Apple Card on your purchases at any of the in-store or online bookstores listed above, you will get 2% in Daily Cash.
Please note that if you are making a purchase in the store, the purchase would have to come from the Apple Card on the Wallet app on your iPhone or Apple Watch. For online purchases, you have to ensure that you tap the Apple Pay button in the checkout and not type in your Apple Card number and information manually.
