Apple today has discontinued the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus following the announcement of the new $599 iPhone 16e.

In September 2022, Apple released the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus as its standard models, sitting below the premium Pro versions. When they were discontinued, the iPhone 14 cost $599, and the iPhone 14 Plus was priced at $699. This reflects a price drop from their initial launch prices of $799 and $899.

The iPhone 14 kept the familiar 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, while the iPhone 14 Plus debuted a larger 6.7-inch screen. This marked the first time Apple offered a large-screen option for its non-Pro models. Notably, Apple discontinued the smaller “mini” version, replacing the 5.4-inch model with the larger Plus.

As the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus is discontinued, it can no longer be bought from apple.com and Apple retail stores. It is still available to purchase from phone carriers, certain stores, and more until supplies last.

Apple has also discontinued the budget iPhone SE (3rd generation) phone, following the announcement of the new iPhone 16e.
