Apple has quietly launched a new page called Snapshot on Apple, which showcases content from popular music artists, actors, and athletes across Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple Fitness+. Marketed with the tagline “Your favorites, at a glance,” Snapshot aggregates content in a visually engaging format, but its initial release has sparked mixed reactions due to its limited functionality and questionable utility.
Snapshot features a horizontally scrolling carousel highlighting 36 celebrities, including high-profile names like Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, Shohei Ohtani, and Serena Williams, as well as bands like Coldplay and BTS. Each celebrity or band has a dedicated profile page that includes a brief biography, their birth year, place of origin, and curated links to their work across Apple’s services. For example, Billie Eilish’s page highlights her music on Apple Music, her 2021 Apple TV+ documentary, and podcast appearances where she has been a guest.
This was first reported by MacRumors, and Apple has not officially announced the new website. It’s unclear how the company will use it or plans to promote it.
