Apple has started rolling out macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 to the public with bug fixes. This update comes two weeks after the debut of macOS Tahoe 26.0, featuring a new Liquid Glass design, Apple Games App, Live Activities, and more. As always, Apple keeps refining the software experience with every 26.x.x update whilst also fixing security issues, and this update is no different.
According to the release notes, “This update provides important bug fixes and security updates, and resolves an issue that prevented some users from upgrading to macOS Tahoe on Mac Studio (M3 Ultra, 2025). This update is available on all devices that support macOS Tahoe 26, including:
- MacBook Air with Apple silicon (2020 and later)
- MacBook Pro with Apple silicon (2020 and later)
- MacBook Pro 16-inch (2019) with an Intel chipset
- MacBook Pro 13-inch (2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports) with an Intel chipset
- iMac (2020 and later)
- Mac mini (2020 and later)
- Mac Studio (2022 and later)
- Mac Pro (2019 and later)
