With the announcement of the new Apple Vision Pro with the M5 chip in a press release yesterday, Apple also mentioned that the Vision Pro app will be coming to iPad with iPadOS 26.1 set be released “later this fall”.
The app has been available for the iPhone since the release of iOS 18.4 in late March of this year. Similar to the functionality of the Watch App on your iPhone, the Vision Pro app allows users to download apps and games on the Vision Pro, as well as discover new content and experiences.
According to Apple, the iPhone app enables users to “discover new content and spatial experiences and manage Vision Pro – all from your iPhone. Get regular updates on the latest movies and TV shows, exclusive content, and popular apps to experience on your Apple Vision Pro. Learn about new features available on visionOS, find Tips to help you get the most out of your device, and get a quick view of your Vision Pro information like serial number and software version.

iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1 are expected to debut next month along with other software versions as they are currently their beta testing phase.
