Apple has started rolling out the first public betas of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, and watchOS 27. These updates come one week after the release of the third developer beta software for these versions. The said updates include improvements to Liquid Glass, a new Siri AI, new Screen Time options, and more, announced at WWDC held last month. Along with the new Public Betas, Apple also re-released iPadOS 27 and macOS 27 Golden Gate Developer Beta 3 with a new build matching the Public Betas.

We have several more beta versions before the Release Candidate, which is expected to be released in September around the time of the announcement of the new iPhones. After updating to the first public beta, you may have to join the waitlist to access the new Siri AI; click here for the steps to register your device. We can expect the next public betas for version 27.0 to be rolled out after 2 weeks. Users who are registered as a public beta tester on www.beta.apple.com can opt in to receive beta updates by going into Settings>General>Software Update>Beta Updates and selecting Public Beta.

Do note that these versions are not stable and are meant for testing purposes. They are not recommended to be downloaded on a primary device due to the nature of beta software.
