The iPad has had one of tech’s best makeovers. From being essentially a bigger iPod, to being a MacBook alternative for many users. And lately, with the introduction of iPadOS and the Magic Keyboard, Apple has struck gold in the tablet market. This has blurred the line between the iPad and the MacBook closer than ever, but some important software is still missing.
Today, according to some leaks by Jon Prosser, the possibility Xcode coming to the iPad is very high. Prosser mentioned that Xcode is now present in the iOS/iPadOS code in  his stream, and has also posted the following tweet:
I’m not gonna say that Final Cut is coming to iPad…
But XCode is present on iOS / iPad OS 14. ?
The implications there are HUGE.
Opens the door for “Pro” applications to come to iPad.
I mentioned this last week on a live stream, but figured it was worth the tweet ??”♂ï¸

In reality, nothing has been confirmed, but with Apple working on more user-requested features ever since the release of iOS 13 and iPadOS, this seems pretty likely.
This would open the possibility of more apps, like Final Cut Pro X or Logic Pro X, of jumping to the iPad Pro and other products in the iPad lineup. This news falls in line with a possible announcement in the online WWDC 2020.
This announcement would make lots of consumers switch their current laptop or MacBook for the new 2020 iPad Pro or the 2018 iPad Pro, which can be purchased in select retailers.
What do you think about this? Would you change your preferred device for an iPad, now that more Pro app could be on their way? Tell us your opinion down below.
