Last Wednesday, Apple released the iOS 14 update to all users, and the iOS 14 installation rate has already surpassed 27%, according to data from Mixpanel.

Compared to iOS 13 released last year, the adoption rate of iOS 14 is rapidly surpassing its predecessor, as iOS 13 had seen the adoption of only 20 percent a week after its release, while iOS 14 is already installed on 27.26% of iOS devices just over the five-day span.

In June of 2020, Apple’s App Store data showed that 81 percent of all active iOS users were updated to iOS 13.

iOS 14 is a jet-packed update that introduces home screen widgets that allow for more customization, App Library that automatically organizes all user apps into one simple, easy-to-use view, a new compact interface for incoming calls, along with picture-in-picture support and several other features. You can see more about it here.

For those who are still using iOS 13, you can download iOS 14 through Settings -> General -> Software Update.
