It was announced on Thursday that Netflix is going to be raising its prices again. The company last increased its prices in January 2019.

The biggest change of it all is the company’s premium plan that was $15.99 a month, which will now be $17.99 a month.

Mind you, while the premium plan does come with great benefits such as having access to HDR and 4K content and getting up to four screens playing at once.

While that is nice, it doesn’t take away from the fact that you’re paying for more and not guaranteed to get as much.

The good news is there could be a better streaming service plan for you that only costs $1 more, but has more valuable content on it. This is the new Hulu bundle.

Hulu’s not as well-known bundle costs $18.99 a month and includes ad-free Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+. Hulu has original programming of its own, as well as programing from networks such as FOX, ABC and NBC, as well as content from TV networks like Adult Swim, Comedy Central, History Channel and its new FX on Hulu programming too.

Disney+ has classic TV shows such as “The Simpsons” (30+ seasons), “Boy Meets World,” “The Mandalorian” and the classic Disney Channel TV shows and movies.

Additionally, when it comes to movies, it’s the place to be. We’re talking the entire “Toy Story” movie series, all of the “Star Wars” and “Avengers” movies, and almost all of the Pixar movies.

Lastly, with ESPN+, you get live sporting events such as college athletics, soccer games, NHL games and original content like “Peyton’s Places,” “NFL Primetime with Chris Berman” and “Bettor Days.”

All of that…for just $18.99 a month. Heck, if you don’t mind ads on Hulu, you can get the Disney+ bundle with ad-supported Hulu and ESPN+ for $12.99 a month.

Either way, this is a bundle and a deal that is way better than what Netflix is offering, which is essentially nothing. Sure, the company wants to get more and better original programming, but who knows what it will be and when it will come out.

This is not an ad from Disney or Hulu, but for making sure our readers know that there is a better deal out there for streamers who are looking to watch the best content when it is convenient for them.

I don’t doubt that Netflix has some great content. However, overall, I think its best days are behind them. Competitors like Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max and Peacock are coming up from the ground and coming up with great speed.

Hulu, Disney+ and Hulu are available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
