As part of the new tvOS 15 update, a new video player has been rolled out in the Apple TV app. New built-in controls and a revamped interface are have been implemented with this new version of the app.

New controls for the sound and subtitles in the video can now be spotted in the bottom right corner, allowing users to easily customize their viewing experience. These replace the usual swipe down interface that was used for these controls.

Following the design language from their multiple software platforms, the new video player is now showing a diversity of title sizes, making it easier to identify the content you are watching inside the app.

Spatial Audio is also making its way to the Apple TV with tvOS 15. Thanks to the new controls, it is now easier than ever to check the audio output and turn on this feature directly from the Siri Remote.

Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to tvOS 15, but it is a nice addition to improve the user experience while watching content in your Apple TV.
