Apple TV 4K users can stream Notre Dame football game in 4K today

On top of the other three games that are going to be broadcast in 4K today in the world of college football for our Apple TV 4K users, we are now seeing that Saturday’s Notre Dame game against Illinois State will be broadcast in 4K too.

This has been confirmed by reliable TVAnswerman.com.

The game itself starts at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC and will be streaming live on Peacock. However, Peacock will not be providing the 4K stream of the game and only the HD version. NBC will have the 4K broadcast available.

As for how to get said game in 4K on the Apple TV 4K, the user would have to have and be subscribed to YouTube TV or DirecTV Stream that will be providing the necessary NBC channels to stream the game live in 4K.

Please note that those with YouTube TV will have to be subscribed to the 4K Plus add-on for an extra $9.99 per month in order to see and get any 4K channels and streams through YouTube TV.

The source says that other NBC-broadcast Notre Dame home games will be available in 4K as well.
