Apple has released App Store Connect version 3.1, bringing several new features and a visual refresh in line with iOS 26’s new design language.
The most noticeable change is a new design App Store Connect now features the “Liquid Glass” aesthetic, with translucent interfaces, fluid animations, and enhanced icons that are also present in iOS 26. This is the biggest visual overhaul to Apple’s mobile operating system since iOS 7 in 2013, making system elements like widgets, notifications, and app icons more dynamic and immersive.
In addition to the visual changes, the update introduces several key improvements for developers:
- Expanded Age Ratings: Developers can now view their app’s age rating across all countries and regions, providing a more granular and precise rating system with new 13+, 16+, and 18+ options in addition to the existing 4+ and 9+ ratings.
- Improved Analytics: The app offers new peer group benchmarks to help developers compare their monetization performance against similar apps. It also introduces new cohort capabilities to gain deeper insights into user behavior, such as measuring revenue generated over time.
- Enhanced TestFlight Integration: The update brings new TestFlight features, allowing developers to view crash feedback and screenshots submitted by testers directly within the app. Developers can also receive push notifications for new feedback.
- Streamlined Ratings and Reviews: App Store Connect now includes streamlined filtering for ratings and reviews, making it easier for developers to manage feedback.
- Flexible Submissions: A new feature allows developers to send certain items, like in-app events, for review independently of an app version submission. This provides greater flexibility in managing app updates.
- Accessibility Information: The update adds the ability to set up “Accessibility Nutrition Labels” for apps, which will appear on the App Store to inform users about features like VoiceOver, Voice Control, and Larger Text.
The update is now available for download from the App Store. With the new design and features, App Store Connect version 3.1 aims to make app management easier and more intuitive for developers.
