We usually do not talk about politics on here, but given the fact that our country and its citizens are so heavily involved in politics right now, I thought it would be a good idea to let everyone know how you can stream the State of the Union Address tonight.

The State of the Union address was originally supposed to be given on January 29,2019, but due to the government shutdown, it did not happen. The speech itself will be on tonight, February 5,2019, starting at 9 PM EST.

With that said though, the speech will be given tonight and here are the following ways you will be able to use to stream it.

All of the big national stations, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX News and CNN will be showing it live. If you have an antenna, you will be able to get ABC, NBC and CBS over-the-air.

Of course, you can always go with a live TV streaming service such as YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV or PlayStation Vue, but only using it for an event like this seems like too much of a hassle, especially if there are other ways that do not need your credit or debt card number to sign up for some sort of free trial.

When it comes to streaming it without the need or use of a credit/debit card, NBC News, CBS News and PBS Newshour will have a free livestream of the event on their YouTube channel. NBC News, CBS News, as well as ABC News will have a livestream of the event on Facebook too.

On top of CBS News having coverage on YouTube and Facebook, they will also have coverage on their app and CBS All Access via CBSN. CBSN can also be found for free on Pluto TV.

CNN will be having coverage of the State of the Union address from their website and app (CNN Go). They will be dropping the TV provider requirement for the event as well so that everyone has a chance to stream it from them.

All of the networks and services do have apps that are available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Apple TV. You will be able to stream it from the Mac by either going to YouTube or Facebook, or by going to the news source’s website.
