According to MacRumors, Apple is set to have their World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) during the week of June 3, 2019. This is expected to go from that date until June 7, 2019, the end of the week.

The conference is also expected to be held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. It is the same location that WWDC 2018 was held at.

If we are sticking with tradition, Apple will hold their keynote on June 3, 2019, which would be the first day of WWDC 2019.

Apple is expected to debut the new iOS 13, along with other new updates to macOS, watchOS and tvOS. This could include new products such as AirPods 2 and possibly a new Apple streaming service (if they are not unveiled at a spring event this year).

Now, the way how we know that it could be that June timeline this year is that the events page for the City of San Jose says, “Team San Jose 2019 WWDC,” with the organization behind it being Apple.

Apple announced WWDC 2018 in March last year, so it could be that they will do the same thing this year or wait as far as sometime in April. In recent years, they have announced it earlier so that the press and media can book plane tickets, hotel rooms, etc, and overall, have enough time to get everything planned, whereas previously, everything was usually done in 1-2 weeks before the event happened.

Tickets for WWDC are done through a lottery system and cost around $1,599 per ticket. You must be in the Apple Developer Program to even register for the lottery system too, so this would be a great time to do so for those interested in attending.

WWDC 2019 will have a livestream and once the time comes, we will post an article on just how to stream the event once we get closer to it.
