In a somewhat shocking turn of events, fuboTV has lost all of its regional FOX Sports stations (FSN). These are stations that typically air regional sporting events such as local NBA and MLB games, as well as other content too.
The reason this happened was that fuboTV and FOX Sports did not reach an agreement in time to keep the channels on the streaming service. Part of the issue with this is that for channels like FOX and FS1, those channels have to be negotiated through Disney since they own them now, but FSN is owned by Sinclair Broadcasting.
We have seen this issue previously with Sling TV, who lost the FSN stations last year.
Right now, fuboTV currently has the regular FOX station (local affiliates in select areas), FOX News, FS1, FS2, FOX Deportes, FOX Soccer Plus, and Big Ten Network (BTN).
There are other regional sports networks that are offered on the service such as regional NBC Sports Chicago, Philadelphia and San Francisco. In Boston, users can find that they get MSG, NESN and AT&T Sportsnet Southwest.
fuboTV’s Family Plan currently costs $59.99 (100 channels) Â and the Ultra Plan (166 channels) that costs $79.99 a month. It is available to stream on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
