For the last several months, NBC has been said to be working on a new streaming service with themselves and Universal.

The good news is that for those who have been waiting to hear about this new streaming service, the official unveiling of the service will be done Thursday, January 16 at 4 p.m. ET. It will be done during an investor meeting.

Cord Cutters News has reported that Comcast is said to be charging $10 for an ad-free version of the service, with the ad version said to cost $5 a month.

Peacock is set to have both old and new original content on the streaming service. Original content is set to be A.P. Bio (season 3), a reboot of Saved by the Bell and a spin-off Psych movie just to name a few.

Other content that is said to be on the service overall is The Office (leaving Netflix in January 2021), Parks and Recreation, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Downton Abbey, Everybody Loves Raymond and many others.

Given that Universal Pictures is partnered with NBC, there is said to be some of their movies being added to Peacock. The service is said to also have DreamWorks movies too.

Peacock is set to be launched in April 2020.

UPDATE (01/15/2020): A.P. Bio actor Patton Oswalt has tweeted a photo of his character getting ready for the third season of the show. The photo was also posted on the show’s Instagram page.
