Apple has acquired Ascend.io, an AI-powered data management platform from Silicon Valley’s Ascension Labs, according to a filing in the EU’s Digital Markets Act transparency database. The deal closed on June 30, and Ascend.io’s website has since gone offline. It’s the latest in a string of AI-related acquisitions Apple has disclosed this year, following Samplab and Huxe.
