On Monday’s earnings call, Apple said it sold roughly 170,000 MacBook Neo laptops to students and teachers in the Philippines during the September quarter, AppleInsider reports. CEO John Ternus said deals like this one bring new users into Apple’s ecosystem and help drive growth across the business. The A18 Pro-powered MacBook Neo launched in March and is still Apple’s cheapest laptop, though its U.S. education price recently went up from $499 to $649.
