How to Close all Safari Tabs

Do you have dozens of Safari tabs open on your iPhone or iPad? It is easy and possible to close all of them at once. There is a shortcut within the Safari app which you can press and hold on and within a few seconds, 4 tabs will pop up. One of those buttons will give you the chance to close all the Safari tabs you have open. This feature has been in iOS for a long time and surprisingly, a lot of people don’t know about it even now.

So now you must be wondering how to do it. I am about to tell you.

Open Safari. Go to any tab you have opened, it doesn’t matter which tab you go to. Just needs to be any random tab.

Then press the button in the bottom right hand corner which looks like two squared over ”“ lapping each other. Press and hold on to this button. This is the shortcut I mentioned and talked about earlier. Within about 2 seconds, 4 other buttons should appear.

The first button being the button you need to tap in order to close all the tabs you have open. The second button will allow you to close the current tab you are in. The third button will open a new Private tab for. And the fourth and last button will open a normal New Tab for you.

In order to close all existing open Tabs, you need to press the first button that will say ‘Close All *the number of Tabs you have open* Tabs’.

Once you press this button, all the tabs you have open will close and one new normal Tab will be opened for use.

Hope this helped!
