Review: Walmart Pay

Walmart Pay has been around for at least a couple years now and it is a payment method only offered at Walmart retail stores for people who want to pay from their smartphones and have one of the most secure payment methods the company can offer.

Walmart currently does not accept Apple Pay or Google Pay. However, the company does accept Samsung Pay.

One of the first things that I love about the app is that once you have your credit/debit card information on your iPhone, the app allows you to get to Walmart Pay with Touch ID. This makes it so that you can enter into Walmart Pay securely so that if someone were to get into your iPhone somehow, they cannot get into your Walmart Pay.

Another item that is really cool about the service is that when you pay with Walmart Pay, you don’t get a physical receipt. Instead, they give you a digital receipt that goes immediately to your Walmart account. This way, it is more environmentally friendly by not printing a piece of paper.

Walmart Pay overall is a secure and convenient way to pay for your items in their stores and online and gets 4/4 stars from me. It does exactly what I want it to do and most importantly, I don’t have to worry about my debit card getting hacked with a chip skimmer.

Rating: 4/4 stars
