According to the German website Macerkopf, news from German carriers said that Apple’s 2018 iPhone will be available for pre-order on September 14. Since carriers are preparing for the September 14 pre-order, which means the new iPhone will release on September 11 or 12.
Apple usually releases the new iPhones in the second week of September, so this year’s event is likely to be held on September 12. After the pre-order to be kicked off on September 14, the official shipping data may be at September 22. Apple will issue a media invitation at the end of this month to confirm the timing of the fall event. This year’s event is likely to hold at the Jobs Theater at Apple Park.
Cupertino is widely believed to unveil three new iPhones, all of which will adopt iPhone X-style design, meaning there will be no Home button, but support for Face ID, which suggests that all three models will have notch design.
