iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max and iPhone Xr: Everything You Need to Know (updated)

Apple just launched the all-new iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max and iPhone XR. These new iPhones will be available for pre-order this Friday, and available next week. iPhone XR is available later, on October 19.

All new iPhone models feature a powerful A12 Bionic processor, which claim to be significantly faster than the previous A11 Bionic processor launched in 2017 for iPhone X. Apple claims that all phones will have an “iPhone X experience”.

iPhone Xs is completely amazing. It has a vivid OLED screen with HDR content. iPhone Xs Max has a 6.5″ display with custom developed stainless steel in gold, silver, and space grey. It has IP67 water and dust protection with better glass protection. Face ID, enabled by the new TrueDepth camera system is faster and more reliable.

The new A12 Bionic processor features a new Neural Engine with Core ML 2.0, which is 9x faster, which helps with apps that use ARKit 2.0 in iOS 12. iPhone is again, taking us to a new era of performance.

The camera system has a new software, with Smart HDR and has portrait mode on the front and TrueDepth camera with adjustable depth of field. iPhone Xs now records in stereo and wide colour now features more advanced software with 4K extended dynamic range and improved low-light performance.

iPhone XR has an iPhone X experience powered by the A12 Bionic processor and advanced Face ID. A new red, blue, white finishes compliment the beautiful glass enclosure. It has a Liquid Retina LCD display which is the most colour accurate. The display extends into the radius corners, with an advanced single lens camera system allow iPhone Xr to map subjects, and create depth of field effects with a single camera system, unlike iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus which require two camera systems.

The iPhone models only include a 5 Watt USB Power Adapter.

iPhone Xr joins iPhone 7, from $449 USD, iPhone 8 at $599, iPhone Xr at $749, iPhone Xs at $999 and iPhone Xs Max at a hefty $1099.
