How to Stream Spongebob Squarepants

It is a sad day if you watched a lot of cartoons in the late-90’s and into the 21st century. the sad thing is that the creator of Spongebob Squarepants, Stephen Hillenburg, has passed away at the age of 57. Hillenburg died due to a long fight with ALS.

With that said, in order to keep his memory alive, how are you going to watch and stream the show?

For starters, Nickelodeon still makes new episodes of the show, along with showing reruns of the series on Nick and Nicktoons. The show can be watched on most cable and satellite packages. The only one that I can think of that will not have it is Cable ONE, which lost their contract with Viacom back in 2014.

Still, the best option you are going to have is to watch it via live TV streaming services. This will work for both their live and on-demand content.

The cheapest one is going to be Philo, which runs for $16 a month and has Nickelodeon. If you pay for the $20 a month plan, you can get both Nickelodeon and Nicktoons. The cool thing to is that you can add it as one of your favorite TV shows and Philo will automatically record it to your DVR. From there, you can watch as many episodes as you want.

Other services for various prices will be the other ones above, which are Sling TV, PlayStation Vue and DirecTV Now. The plans and pricing will be different for each live TV streaming service.

Prime Video also has some of the older seasons of Spongebob (seasons 1-4). Other seasons of the show can be watched from Amazon Prime Video by purchasing them either by episode or by season. Additionally, all seasons of the show can be purchased on iTunes.

I personally want to thank Hillenburg for creating a show such as Spongebob and the sea of characters that the series created over the years, always finding new ways to make me laugh and by being something that millennials can say, “Hey, that show was my childhood.” The truth is that it really was a lot of our childhoods and we will be eternally grateful for this show.
