Apple recently announced that Apple Pay is going to be getting some new locations in 2019, one of the biggest ones being Target, who has accepted Apple Pay in their iOS app, but now in their retail stores.

Two other businesses that will be accepting Apple Pay are Taco Bell and the Midwest grocery store chain HyVee.

It has been confirmed to us through TeamApple News that HyVee has been accepting Apple Pay since October 2018 and that consumers have been able to use Instacart to order their groceries and have them delivered to their homes with Apple Pay too.

Currently, HyVee’s grocery pickup and delivery service, Aisles Online, does not accept Apple Pay as a payment method.

On top of that, Speedway convenient stores are now also going to be accepting Apple Pay soon too.

When it comes to fast food restaurants, both Taco Bell and Jack in the Box will soon be accepting Apple Pay in their restaurants. Taco Bell currently accepts Apple Pay in their iOS app.

“Whether customers are buying everyday household items, groceries, snacks for a road trip or grabbing a quick meal, Apple Pay is the easiest way to pay in stores, while also being secure and faster than using a credit or debit card at the register,” said Jennifer Bailey, Apple’s vice president of Internet Services.

Apple’s article also mentions that both CVS and 7-Eleven made the switch to Apple Pay as a payment option in 2018, as well.

Apple Pay can be used in stores with the iPhone 6-iPhone XS Max and all versions of the Apple Watch. It can be used on the web with all current versions of the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, MacBook Pro with TouchBar and the 2018 MacBook Air.
