According to 9to5Mac, SiriusXM has updated their Apple TV, as of yesterday. The update brings some nice changes to the tvOS app, which includes a new user interface.
The main reason for doing this was for continuity. Now the Apple TV will match the iPhone and iPad apps when talking about the design of the app.Â
The Howard Stern Show is also being added to the app, giving Apple TV users an easier way to access it. Previously, users would have to AirPlay to their Apple TV via and iPhone or iPad.Â
In a release, the company said this about the update:Â
The SiriusXM app on Apple TV now matches the experience on subscribers’ iPhone, iPad and other mobile devices, and the web player on SiriusXM.com, which boasts capabilities that help users find more of what they like across SiriusXM’s 200+ channels.
Since the service does cost money via a subscription, you can click here to find out what those prices are and see which plan is best for you.Â
SiriusXM Satellite Radio is available to listen to on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Apple TV, Mac and CarPlay.Â
