According to a blog post on the company’s blog, Sling TV will be offering 40 percent off of their service for the first three months of service. This is being done as a special promotion throughout the tax refund season.
In order to get this, you must be a new customer, go to the link here and from there, you will be able to sign up for one of their plans, the Sling Orange, Sling Blue or Sling Orange + Blue plan at a discounted price. The following prices per month of those services for the first three months are the following:
- Sling Orange: $15
- Sling Blue: $15
- Sling Orange + Blue: $25
After that three-month period, the plans will go back to their original $25 and $40 per month prices.
This promotion can additionally help you decided whether or not you will want to add an Extras to your plan. Extras such as the Sports, Comedy, News and Kids are only $5 a month.
For those of you want to look into adding even more to your plan and the channel selection, adding one of those Extras could be a great way to do so and see if it would be something you would want to add-on even after the 40 percent off expires three months after signing up for the service.
There is currently no word on when this promotion will end, but we will update this article when we get that information. Sling TV is available on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Mac (available on the Google Chrome browser) and Apple TV.
