With thunderstorm season currently going on, the floods in the midwest and the thunderstorms and natural disasters that are bound to happen this summer, here is how you can donate to places like the Red Cross with Apple Pay.
The first step is to go to the Red Cross website on your iPhone or iPad, scroll near the bottom of the site and then you should see a “Donate Now” button. Once you have clicked that, you will go to the “My Donation” page, where you can enter how much money you would like to donate.
When going to the “Payment Details” part of the page, you will be able to see a list of payment methods. Choose Apple Pay, select the amount of money you would like to donate and then click the “Donate with Apple Pay” button.
This is one of the safest ways to donate money over the web during a time when credit and debit card hacking has become such a problem. You should be able to donate money via a credit card, debit card and through Apple Cash.
