Apple has released tvOS 14.4 to the public alongside iOS 14.4, iPadOS 14.4, watchOS 7.3, and HomePod System 14.4. This is the fifth update to tvOS.
tvOS 14.4 can be downloaded from the Settings app on the Apple TV, with users who have enabled automatic updates, upgraded automatically,
Currently, there are no new features in tvOS 14.4, though tvOS updates are usually focused on bug fixes and performance improvements.
tvOS 14 was released in September after being announced at the virtual WWDC 20, with Picture-in-Picture coming to third-party apps, Audio Sharing with the ability to connect two AirPods or compatible Beats, and expanded controller support.
