There have been rumors circling around that the colorful line-up of Apple iPhone XR would get a successor this year along with two new color options.
Japanese blog Mac Otakara has reported that the iPhone XR successor would replace two of the old colours with two new ones. They report that the company is going to drop the Coral and Blue colours to bring in Green and Lavendar variant. White, black, yellow and PRODUCT (RED) will remain available, apparently, just like they have been with the current iPhone XR.
In addition to the change in colors, the iPhone XR is expected to come with various upgrades. This will naturally include the more powerful A13 chipset. It has also been rumored to feature a 4×4 MIMO antenna design in order to improve faster data speeds, along with Wi-Fi 6 support for improved wireless networking performance.
According to these leaked 3D renders by OnLeaks and PriceBaba, the handset will have a dual-camera setup at the back, with the secondary lens allowing for optical zoom support. It might also support reverse wireless charging.
Mac Otakara also mentions that white, black, spearmint, yellow, red and lilac silicone cases are coming with the iPhones this year.
As always, take this information with a pinch of salt, until we have more evidence or official announcement from Apple.
