CARROT Weather also has a new way of doing subscriptions. Previously, the app had two subscription tiers; Premium and Superpremium. However, now the premium subscription tiers are simply called Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3.

The prices for the tiers can be found below in their yearly prices. CARROT Weather does offer to pay by the month as well.

  • Tier 1: $4.99
  • Tier 2: $11.99
  • Tier 3: $24.99

The cost for the app itself is $4.99 in the iOS App Store. CARROT Weather, along with the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and the Apple Watch, is additionally available on the Apple TV and Mac. The Apple TV app costs $4.99 in the tvOS App Store and $11.99 in the Mac App Store.

This is a great app to have this summer, as it will be able to alert you for the coming storms and more. It does come at a price, but it is a price you can pay if you want to be as safe as possible this thunderstorm season.
