Apple CEO Tim Cook tweeted his sentiments Sunday afternoon about the passing of legendary Auburn radio football commentator Rod Bramblett, along with his wife Paula, after a Saturday car accident.
Bramblett was later airlifted to the UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, where he died after acquiring a severe injury to his head.
Cook tweeted this in his response to the tragic death.
My heart is heavy today as our Auburn family mourns the loss of Rod and his wife Paula. Rod’s excitement was contagious and his voice will always be part of Auburn’s memories. I will never forget him.

Cook was a student at the University of Auburn and graduated in 1982 with his Bachelor’s Degree in industrial engineering.
