According to their newest app update, version 2.2, the company will now be accepting Apple Pay (and Google Pay) in their iOS app.
This means that users and customers can now pre-pay for their gas in the app and then pay for it with Apple Pay.
Shell previously only accepted Apple Pay in their stores. Some of their gas stations even had NFC enabled at their gas pumps too.
