HBO MAX

WarnerMedia announced today that they have been creating a new streaming service with HBO, which is set to be called HBO Max.

The service is set to be the exclusive streaming home to popular shows like Friends, which will be leaving Netflix in January 2020, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Pretty Little Liars.

It will also include content from networks and media companies such as The CW, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, New Line, DC, TBS, TNT, TruTV, Turner Classic Movies and many others.

HBO Max is set to launch next spring in 2020 and will compete with other streaming services like Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video. Both Apple TV+ and Disney+ are set to launch this fall, with Disney+ costing consumers $7 per month.

With the fall launch for both Apple TV+ and Disney+, it could be a great way for them to gain some traction and users before HBO Max launches in 2020.

Additionally, NBC is also set to launch a new streaming service next year too that will be the exclusive streaming service for The Office, which Netflix is set to lose in January 2021.

It is currently unknown what price both HBO Max will cost per month, but we can be sure that when it does launch that it should be available on devices like the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac.
