Apple releases watchOS 5.3 bringing ECG app to Canada and Singapore

Apple today has released watchOS 5.3 bringing the ECG app to Canada and Singapore.

watchOS 5.3, the ECG app is now available in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guam, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States and the US Virgin Islands.

This update also includes bug fixes and performance improvements bringing an important security update to the Walkie-Talkie app.

This update includes new features, improvements and bug fixes and is recommended for all users:
– Provides important security updates including a fix for the Walkie-Talkie app
– ECG app on Apple Watch Series 4 now available in Canada and Singapore
– Irregular heart rhythm notifications now available in Canada and Singapore

watchOS 5.3 can be downloaded for free through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to General -> Software Update.
