In the latest beta of Telegram, it looks as though the app is going to be getting CarPlay support, according to a user on Reddit.
Telegram is a messaging app, similar to both WhatsApp and Slack, where you can message a single person or message people in groups. A lot of companies and groups use it to stay in touch with one another in an organized format.
What will likely happen with Telegram being available for CarPlay is that users will be able to see, hear and read messages that come in to their iPhone.
The only messaging app that is available through CarPlay is Apple’s iMessage system, so this is pretty big for Telegram, and allows them to compete with other messaging apps like WhatsApp, Slack and Facebook Messenger.
